⁣So Werner is proposing a sovietization of banks, whereby they are run by local communities of citizens, which is fine. But the Achilles heel in this proposal is the common denominator of a universal currency which will require central oversight and control, and leave the whole system vulnerable to manipulation and corruption. S essentially this sceme is one of decentralization in the distribution of currency. That’s why I like Mr Titus’s idea of rach community being able to distribute its own currency that can be exchanged with a common central currency that reconciles the value of the the various currency by an equalization mechanism to enable exchange and commerce between cimmunities. It’s like having a world teserve currency, but one that is not controlled by one sovereign state. come to think of it, this eas probably the concept behind the Euro which unfortunately has come under the control of the bigger economies of Europe, which was probably unwittingly designed to.

I found myself imagining such an encounter.
In what follows, "M:" stands for "Mommy:", and "C:" stands for the "Child:".
M: "That's the wrong question, my dear child.
A more appropriate question would be:
'what is Money?'
Listen very carefully my dear child.
Money is an abstract noun."
C: "Huh?"
