I'm sorry. Is this implying food can be "racist"?
I'm French. Baguette costs from 30 cents to 1 euro tops, hardly priviledged. Cheese is fermented cow or goat cheese and saucisson is basically animal bits deemed unworthy to be eaten as such grinded into sausages and dried. These were farmers foods. Just like pizza was a lower class recipe: dough, tomato and toppings as budget allowed. Things have evolved through the restaurant industry and marketing. Misconceptions.

Oh and croissants is basically a whole lot of butter with fancy twisting lol (you can get 8 to 10 industrial ones for about 1 euro and a bakery one is anywhere between 50 cents to a euro
