Correct. I'm thankful to have said NO since the beginning. I festooned my van with hand made banners asking when and how did we become such cowards. As an American my comments echoed patriotic themes, lampooning the panic. Themes like "Did Patrick Henry ride through the streets saying "Shelter in Place! Shelter in place!" Did Roosevelt declare that "Dec 7th, a date that will live in infamy, shall be the day we shelter in place"? Did Licoln address the crowd at Gettyburgs saying "If only these men had sheltered in place, no one needed to die" No! We give the last full measure of devotion to the proof that a "nation conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that ALL men are CREATED equal" is worthy of our last full measure of devotion. This generation has no understanding that all current civilizations were built atop the civilization that preceded it. The "native Americans" here when the europeans arrived killed the Olmecs that preceded them, ALL OF THEM, to occupy the land that the Europeans later conquered. History is full of barbarity and it appears we are about to enter a period, once God pulls His Spirit from the earth, of such barbarity that those who are still here will beg for death, but not be allowed to die, instead shall be forced to commit atrocities unheard of during the worst of human history.
Seek God while there is time, though there be but a little. "Knock and the door shall be opened, seek and you shall find, ask and THE answer shall be given." He left a service manual (bible) for the most complex and beloved of His creation, mankind, so that His desire for us could be known. Christ died that we might be reconciled simply for seeing and understanding the amazing gift of God, the willing (horrific what we did to Him) sacrifice of His Son, so that we would know the depth and fullness of His love. Repent, humble yourself, give up the wretched pleasures and perversions so common to us all, and be forgiven and reconciled to our Father. It isn't a religion He offers, it is an intimate relationship that is full of joy, peace, love. God/Christ introduced himself to me over 40 years ago initiating the most amazing adventure I could never have imagined. But during that time I also have been willful, wicked, perverse, treacherous, narcisistic. Nonetheless, He still forgives me my sins and cleanses me of all that separated me, by my own accord, from Him, the eternal Creator. Thank you God, how could I not wish for this for everyone You send my way?
