Mid day of a sunny Sunday, a few people sitting in a small side-park (the ones you see on the upper deck are from the main square). Troopers rush in and go straight up to a couple of families (mothers + children) and they ask them for permits. They present them and the troopers reply that they are not valid as they are for personal exercise and they seem to be sitting on the benches instead, so they are breaking the law and they will be find.
A couple of young men step up in defense of the families, telling the troopers that they are over-reacting... The troopers are not having any of it. They hit anyone who approaches, call for backup and arrest 11 people.
The troopers intensify their presence in the area for a day or two and not long after that, thousands of residents + frustrated citizens from all around Athens, take to the streets of the incident... and the troopers come in in full force and all hell breaks loose...
