⁣In 1945 as GI's returned home to Athens Tennessee they found a corrupt local government. They had just finished fighting Fascism overseas and decided to stop it at home. The battle of Athens ensued and there was a small victory for the GI's. In the end sadly the ever corrupt government won the war after a loss of a battle. Imagine what an entire country could do if we only stand together against corruption.
