⁣⁣⁣When two 19-year-old students politely asked if they could interview me as part of their university project, I could have never anticipated what would happen next.

The students advised me we could meet in a group of three as it is classified as 'Educational Work' and was approved by their university.
Priti Patel confirms this on page12 of the 'Coronavirus, Restrictions' document which states under section 11.3.(b) 'Exceptions in Relation to Gatherings' are APPROVED 'for the purpose of education or training' [1].
The video clearly shows an abuse of covid regulations to target and harass three individuals, simply because they were interviewing me about my experience as an Extinction Rebellion activist and why I decided I can no longer fly polluting passenger jets [2].
Our government have broken the social contract to protect their citizens and freedom of speech is our democratic right. This overwhelming response from that state just highlights the desperate ways in which they are trying to silence us from simply telling the truth, governed by mainstream science [3].

The police not only harassed and tried to intimidate us but they also blatantly lied, trying to imply we had already been issued a 'warning' (allow them to fine/arrest us) when no laws had been broken and we clearly stated we were operating within the regulations set out by the Secretary of State.
Our government's own 'Net Zero' targets fall woefully short of the action that's required to arrest climate breakdown and subsequent feedback loops, yet they are failing on all but 4 of 21 key indicators [4].
