⁣Jack Jarvis has just been entered into the Guinness Book of Records, for rowing solo from Portugal to Florida. This has taken 111 days. Jack joined the British army at 16 years old and immediately volunteered for the All Arms Commando course. On successful completion, he spent the next seven years of his career within 59 Commando Squadron. After winning the British Army indoor rowing league in 2019, Jack rowed 4500 nautical miles across the Altantic ocean, unsupported, breaking several world records.
