The city of London covers an area of approximately 610 square miles and has a population of around 9 million people. A 1000 Londons would result in 9 billion people in 610,000 square miles. Alaska has an area of 665,384.04 square miles but Alaska, and the rest of the United States, together with Europe, China, India, and a bit more, could be accommodated in Africa alone. In other words, if we could house the world population in Alaska, which would become the mother of all cities, the rest of the world would be devoid of human life and the fertile land would be available for all crop growth. You can now clearly see that there is a frightening population problem.

⁣If you were flying at 35,000 ft (6.6 miles) in a Boeing 747, which is 70 m long, and looked down on the ground and saw another Boeing 747 at an airport, at sea level, how big would you say that that Boeing would appear? Would it appear to be 1 cm long, or 2 cm long or 3 cm long. For exaggeration’’s sake let’s say it appeared to be 3.5 cm long. This would mean that the plane has reduced in size by a factor of 2000 (from 7000 cm to 3.5 cm). Does this mean that if you saw something on the ground that is 3.5 cm long then at 35,000 feet it should appear to be 0.0175 mm long, a 2000 reduction? In other words, at 35,000 feet the Boeing would appear to be 3.5 cm long and at 70,000 feet it should appear to be 0.0175 mm long. But this is not a reduction of 4000 but 2000 x 2000 = 4000,000 (exponential not linear). At 105,000 feet (3 x 35,000 feet ~ 20 miles) the reduction should be 2000 x 2000 x 2000 = 8,000,000,000 and therefore, logically, something 8000 miles wide on the ground should appear to be 1.6 mm long. At 140,000 feet (~27 miles) it would be invisible to the naked eye. This measurement just happens to be approximately that of the earth's diameter. The ISS at 240 miles away and visible should result in a reduction factor of 2000 x 2000 x 2000 x 2000 x 2000 x 2000………(only another 30 to go) and should mean that it must be bigger than the moon or the sun or the universe? Is someone telling porkies? The notion that the sun is 93 million miles away, and visible, seems a little bit far fetched. But then, your eyes can play tricks on you?
