BREAKING! THE GOVERNMENT HAVE LOST CONTROL IN THE CITY OF PUYO! ORDO AB CHAO
BREAKING ORDO AB CHAO - The Ecuadorian interior minister says 18 police officers are missing after indigenous protesters attacked a police station in the eastern Amazon region. That's as riots over fuel price hikes and other economic policies escalate for a tenth consecutive day. The government is now trying to retake control of the city of Puyo, where one protester has died. President Guillermo Lasso refused to lift a state of emergency and proposed dialogue with Ecuador's Confederation of Indigenous Nationalities.
