Geert Vanden Bossche PhD, is an internationally recognised vaccine developer having worked as the head of the Vaccine Development Office at the German Centre for Infection Research. Interview by Philip McMillan (Vejon Health)
Geert appears to be saying that because vaccines are directed at the humoral (antibody) arm of the adaptive immune system, they depend upon the action of the cell mediated arm of the innate immune system to kill/destroy virus infected cells. A distinctive feature of mRNA vaccines is that they use (enter) cells of the body to produce the vaccine antigens for display on the cell surfaces. In so doing, they not only stimulate antibody production (desired effect), but also become targets for the cell mediated arm of both innate and adaptive immune systems. (undesired consequence). Therefore, to avoid ongoing autoimmune responses, it would appear that mRNA vaccines must deliberately suppress the cell mediated arm of the immune systems.
