I live in a small town in the UK and can confirm that in the last few weeks, the local convienence shops are low on stock and now also, the lidls supermarket is running low on shelf items. This is going to get very bad, very quickly.

All knowledge is snot good. There are things in this world, trust me 99% of people would not ever want to know. Some knowledge in the wrong hands could destroy the world or the person attempting to wield such knowledge. As you said knowledge is power and with power comes responsibility and accountability. It is supposed to anyways but unfortunately the majority of people have never been held accountable for their actions and have no concept of responsibilities anymore. . It is refreshing to see someone his age actually knowing where food comes from, let alone husbandry of it.
