I had what I now know to be a 'mystical experience' when I was suffering a life threatening illness at age 19. Not quite a near death experience( NDE) but I can tell you this IT CHANGES YOU . I am now 58. From that moment on my whole perspective changed. I don't know what I would be like now if it hadn't happened. For me this is normal but I notice all the time that my outlook is mostly different from most people. It's not always good though because a lot of people think I'm weird but I wouldn't change it for the world.

20 years ago I read a book where Mr Icke was talking about life after death. He said in the book 'If you don't or can't believe this then go to any spiritualist church and you will be provided with proof.' I followed his advice. It is something you have to do for yourself and make your own decision.
