The only way your body can DeTox is through the liver, period. Anything else is BS and they will invariably try to sell you some quack remedy.

I'm 50 hours into a 72 hour fast(mini one- did 10 days in September), that cleans you out the real way with autophagy..... !

You did 10 days, WOW. I just do intermittent fasting two days a week and find it helps with overall health, cheers

@yabba: Think I'm going to do this once a month, ten days was a bit of a mental battle after day 8. I usually IF each day but vary between 18:6 and OMAD. I'm very low carb so I don't suffer- it's the best advice for anyone going beyond 24hrs, get fat adapted and low carb then any huunger is a rolling battle with "ghrelin" that comes in waves in the first few days. bizarrely the hunger does go away the further into it you go...

@yabba: I must be a freak too, all advice is to re-feed slowly (this is I think mainly aimed at people who break the fast with carbs). Tonight I had 100g pan fried lambs liver, then 3 boiled eggs with butter, 2 grilled chicken breasts(350g), an avocado and 100g of French Brie cheese..... no stomach cramps, bloating or "disaster pants" !!!
