i took on a 60 kg untrained American Akita , at first he would attack himself by biting his tail and back leg , he would stand on his back legs and pound the pavement , I tried in vain to train him , he could pull so hard it was like getting your srm ripped off , I'am 95kg and six two , I knew he had killed 2 dogs already , one being a bitch , I have a collie also , the easy thing wouldve been to give him to the RSPCA to kill him , which they , over 50% of dogs go to them get killed , in desperation I got one , onfull power after testing it on myself I would liken it to a5 amp shock , that didnt deter him too much , so I got another and would shave his neck , after about a month , the dog became a reformed character , who is no a loving member of the family and i will even let my 16 year old son walk him , however , he's never off the lead or allowed to mixwith other dogs , he's a big softy now .
