Jesus Will Destroy All Churches – Seeing The Future Using Bible History (25 of 26)

Series 211 - Looking Ahead After Looking Behind

About this video:
God is going to destroy the seven religious systems of the world, and he ruins them as a way of breaking open the paradigm of religious people so that he might save those who have right hearts but wrong heads. God is also going to destroy all political structures. There’s a coming king who's going to destroy all the empires of the world, both religiously and politically, and Revelation explains this enormous travail.

What will happen, for example, to people who are anticipating the rapture and it doesn't occur? What confidence will they have in their church after that? They’ll have very little. We have a good model of this, ironically, that was created by the Baptist evangelist William Miller. William Miller was convinced that Jesus was coming in 1844, and he began to tell all of New England that Jesus was coming. Historians say the number of people who bought into Miller's message is somewhere around 75,000 — give or take a few thousand — and when Jesus didn't appear, well, the abandonment of the Miller movement ensued... it dried up and went away in just a day or two!

The Baptist's never officially endorsed Miller although many did side with him. A number of denominations did come to accept the Millerite message, but after it collapsed in 1844 the Baptist went back to the drawing board and began looking at an entirely different model to explain the prophecies. In a series of prophetic conferences in England and Scotland the Baptist Church finally became the primary proponent of the idea of a pre-tribulation rapture. Today, Baptist's are generally the most outspoken denomination on the pre-trib, although a number of other churches have bought into the idea as well.

Out of the Millerite movement there arose another group of people that would be called, about 20 years later, Seventh-day Adventists. Let me explain....

Wake-up America Seminars is a non-profit / non-prophet organization. We are dedicated solely to proclaiming the imminent return of Jesus Christ. We are not affiliated, endorsed, nor sponsored by any religious organization; we, quite frankly, haven't found one that would have us. This is not a clandestine method of getting you to join a church because Wake-up America seminars is not a church — we have no prisoners (members). We are an organization that is dedicated to education. Our mission is to inspire and encourage people into the Word of God, and what church may mean to you or what church may be to you is something between you and your Lord. Finally, the basis for the views presented in this seminar is limited to the Bible; the only authority that I except for matters in doctrine and spiritual guidance come from the Bible.

Visit our website for more in-depth articles and videos about what God is doing. You’ll be amazed at the effort God exerts to save you and me!

There is no such thing as Pre-Tribulation. Same as there is no such thing as the 7 years Great Tribulation. Biblically, the 7 years are God's Judgement on the Whore of Babylon where the people & the earth suffer God's wrath poured out. The Great Tribulation is now, as spoken about in the Book Of Revelation. Those in white robes who came out of the ⁣Great Tribulation, before the 7 years, are Christians

You where correct with your first statement friend, but there are no seven years in eschatology. The seventy weeks prophecy was sealed up before the gospel went out also to the Gentile nations, for it was a prophecy for "thy people" and scriptures tell of no gap in the seventy weeks / 490 years.
