My how times change quickly. I am 56 yet when I was younger it was common knowledge in women that you do not take ANY medications including injections and vaccinations (unless an emergency situation) when you are pregnant because EVERYTHING you take into your body will also be going through to your unborn child. It cannot believe the amount of women who think its unsafe to eat fish whilst pregnant but have no problem having a flu vaccine or whooping cough vaccine whilst pregnant! The other thing that astonishes me is the amount of adult women who have no idea how their cycle actually works and that there is a narrow window of opportunity to even fall pregnant each month - a lot of women have no idea until after 12 months of trying to fall pregnant they go to the gyno and find out its simply due to them not having sex at the critical time of the month!
