I have difficulty with this sort of analysis. There is a statistical chance of dying each day for everyone alive - but it only ever happens once. The standard daily (or weekly or four weekly if you prefer) rates of dying by age cohort ought to already be a published official statistic - pandemic or no pandemic, but these officials just never ask any questions of anything it seems...
