They can put liquids/fluids into the hollow fibres that embed into the tissue. So for example if you get tested, these fibres embed into your nose & you get tested again, there's a good chance that test will break that fibre realising whats inside onto the swab. For all we know they could be putting liquid in there that tests positive to their covid.
