⁣Isaiah 55:6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
⁣Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Jesus told Pilate: "My kingdom is not of this world." Liberal democracy, a by-product of Christianity if you will, is now finished. Why? Because, we are told in the Acts of the Apostles, Christ is the cornerstone the builders have rejected at their peril. We are often told by academics that we are now living in a post-Christian society. And it is turning into a very bleak prospect indeed. Few of our elected leaders are professed Christians or conduct their lives according to Christian beliefs and ethics. These are perilous times. They may even require martrydom. Martyrium victoria est.

2 Corinthians 5:6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. 11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
