Steven Dean. The True Message of the Crucifixion.

Hello there. It is my understanding that 'sin' is nothing but believing our current illusory existence to be 'real', when in fact it is nothing but a distortion of Truth in opposition to our True Home in the eternal Oneness of God. Awakening to Truth, or 'Enlightenment' is becoming 'sinless' by recognizing that everybody and everything in the entire universe is made out of God. The illusion I speak of is believing it all to be anything different to That.

Jesus 'died for our sins' in the sense that, should His message of everlasting life, the ressurection, be understood, then we would recognize that us, like He, are of God and therefore 'sinless'. Unfortunately His true message, as I said in the video, has been largely reduced to a footnote, and all too easily overlooked.

@Steven Dean: Truth Connections.: Sorry I would have to disagree. Recognising truth (which sets us free) is recognising we are sinners, we need a saviour, that saviour is Jesus and we must repent of our sins and accept Him as Lord and Saviour and walk in obedience to His commandments thereafter. It sounds like you are teaching a gnostic type of new agey message. It isn't biblical and what you are telling people won't save them. Jesus' own words in the bible are very clear as regards sin. He warned of hell more than He spoke of Heaven.

@The_Whole_Picture: While we think this existence is 'real', we're already in hell, Brother. The horrors that exist here far outweigh any nonsense about burning sulphur and horned beings with pitchforks. Our true Home is in all-loving God, who but awaits our awakening to that fact. We all get Home in the end, but it can be a very long journey indeed. Blessings :)
