Trains at Lincoln Central 11/12/2007 Part 2
Here is Part 2 of the Lincoln trip that I did back in 2007. The video is lower quality than some of my other videos because this was made when I first starting going out filming with my camera and I didn't know how to render the footage properly. At the time this video was made, Lincoln Central still had its original Semaphore Signals present and 2007 was the final year that these signals were operated as they unfortunately got replaced by the new LED colour light signals that you will now see at Lincoln from 2008 and onwards. The Class 60 that was hauling the tanker train was 60028 and not 60079 as originally thought. This part of the video starts off with 153311 in Regional Railways livery leaving from Plaform 5 heading for Cleethorpes via Barnetby and then 156414 pulls into Platform 5 about 10 mins later to set down passengers prior to going onto Platform 6 for its return journey back to Leicester. Then we see and film 60028 working the TEA tanker train passing through Lincoln on its way to Lindsey which then it will pass through Barnetby en-route. This locomotive is currently in storage at Toton Traction Depot and has been for some time now unfortunately. While I was filming 60028 on the Tankers, I also filmed 156414 thrashing away from Platform 6 heading for Leicester. I absolutely love the thrash these DMU's make. Next, a Northern Rail Class 158 numbered 158767 leaves Platform 5 to the reverse point when it will pull into Platform 7 and then head to Hull. 153313 still in the old First North Western livery on the other hand, pulls away and shunts onto Platform 4 where it couples onto 153381 in Central Trains livery. Well thats all from this archive. I will be uploading the footage from Grantham and Peterborough that I did in this year. So if you like these videos, please subscribe to my channel.
