William Thompson wasn't fired because they just felt like it. He was fired for coming out with this. In a letter that he wrote to his boss in 2004, then CDC head Dr. Julie Gerberding TELLING HER that he was going to have to present conflicting evidence with his study and the CDC's position on MMR vaccines. If the guy who ran the study admits that the data was purposefully misrepresented, that's enough to retract it.

To this day he whines that he's not getting enough credit for the vax, and he's responsible for it.
Much as I appreciate your voice on the dangers of vaccines, and especially the covid jab that is not a vaccine, you really compromise your credibility by thinking that trump would do anything to compromise the profits of the jab makers.
