I agree with you on this. Whilst I love the sentiment and do feel it is meant with the best intentions, these aren't the words of the child speaking them. And even though the child may feel the same, it is essential that the child speaks for themselves. This really is the other end of what we are trying to stop; control. Be it bad people controlling, or good people controlling, it's still control.

I'm sorry but I disagree. Children are our future and are just as much a part of this fight. We need to be educating our children as early as possible, and if they decide They want to get involved then we need to support them. You are never to young to learn the truth and never to young to stand up for what you believe in. If you want to hold your kids back and not let them have a voice that is up to you, I will never tell my daughter she can't speak her mind because certain grown ups might have an issue with it.
