⁣⁣⁣UNN's Jacqui Deevoy is joined by Eric Levy's friends Piers, Elleanne and Jill to talk about how human rights activist Eric Levy was starved and dehydrated to death two days ago in UCL hospital in London. He wasn’t ill, he wanted to go home and he was being held against his wishes. In the words of Eric’s friend Jill, who’s here with us now: “Eric was an amazing man, an activist freedom fighter and justice campaigner his whole life. He didn’t deserve to be killed like he was. I'm so sad he suffered in that horrible hospital for 13 weeks. They dragged it out and made him weak in front of our faces but kept promising he would be discharged next week, then next week, etc...We could have got him back to full strength if we could have brought him home to recover but they prevented that.”
